David Puente is an Emmy-winning journalist who has anchored and produced prestigious programs including ABC News Now, ABC News “20/20,” and CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360.” His extensive news background includes preparing journalists such as Anderson Cooper and Barbara Walters for interviews and speaking engagements. David uses his 20 years of communications experience to train clients to become more persuasive, clear, compelling, and effective. He has coached trainees for media appearances on all major TV networks and digital media outlets. His clients include Comcast, Viacom, Facebook, L’Oreal, Match Group, Unilever, Verizon Media, Elle, Douglas Elliman, The Rockefeller Foundation, Kellogg’s, and The Wall Street Journal. David has also prepared celebrities, athletes, and best-selling authors for television appearances and publicity events. David works with all of his clients to develop effective messaging, enhanced delivery and executive presence. His expertise includes preparation for presentations, professional panels and media appearances. David’s breadth of experience includes coaching CEOs for investor calls as well as “Shark Tank” participants on how to sharpen their pitching techniques for the show. David has also become a strong voice leading presentations on diversity and inclusion at the corporate level. Fluent in Spanish, David spearheads Clarity’s Latin American business both within and outside the US. He has received philanthropic awards for his work with public school students, including the 2006 Disney Cast Community Fund Grant and The 2010 Time Warner Heiskell Award for Community Service. David is also fluent in French and studies Arabic.
